Stereo system for an office
«

So here is what i want to do.
I want a centralized reciever that has the capability of running 8 speakers.
Speakers might even be kept above the ceiling tile. It is just going to be something like white noise playing out of it. Like smooth jazz stuff.
Thinking that the faint music coming through the tile would break up conversations that you can hear in between the exam rooms at our new office.
So my questions is what kind of reciever can i run that many speakers off of. Just looking for some cheap stuff, nothing top of the line.
Any ideas.

any 7.1 system... or just wire 2 sets of speakers per channel to a cheap 5.1 setup and you can get it

Sure did. They paid an audio engineer to come out and propose a solution. I wasn't going to get paid any more then i do regardless.
So why work harder then what i need to.
