Upgraded my Camera game

So I finally got around to buying a decent camera. I am a proud owner of a Canon Rebel XS with 18-55mm lens. So far I've been loving it and have been experimenting with the settings. Anyway here are a few quick shots.

Nope I haven't. But at least now I have a decent camera to take photos at autocross. Now we wont have to look high and low on the BMW boards for photos.

ahahha i thought the same thing tim did. Maybe just cus the cars, location, and angles are the same.

i think thats what it is. Also jerry i think the problem with the photos and video at autocross have been mainly that we dont have a dedicated video/ camera man. lol

That's true, but some of the photos Angie has taken with either my or her camera have been low quality. Point and Shoot cameras at full zoom don't produce good results. The photos above simply amaze me because I had to do little to no editing. Just about every photo I took with my old digital point n shoot needed at least 5 to 10mins of photoshop to be decent.

If we could get a dedicated video/camera man that would be awesome.

hahaha i agree, angles dont always mean art, unless you dont care about the content of what you are looking at.

Like this guy on the local mr2oc who was selling three engines

nice pics...I also picked up a new camera. I have a Nikon D60. Technically I bought it for Lauren, but I use it far more than she does. Maybe when the cars are clean (and the MR2 is all one shade of white), I'll come up with some new pics.
